My name is Debbie Bermudez and Ginger Movements is one of the ways I am hoping to infuse the concept of active and mindful living into the lives of our children and youth.
I have been active for most of my life and recognize the many benefits beyond the ‘physical’ of physical fitness. I also have come to understand and integrate the practice of mindfulness in both my life and the lives of my daughters. The approach differs between adult and child/youth practices, but the goal sets are actually quite similar.
By encouraging movement and mindfulness into the lives of my students and family, we see increased resiliency, reduction of anxiety and an overall improvement on sleep and self regulation
